How to verify your WhatsApp number

Some features need a verified WhatsApp number. Example: earthquake alerts.

How do I verify the number?

1. Sign in as a customer.
2. Open WhatsApp number settings.
3. Enter the number.
4. Request an OTP code.
5. Enter the 6-digit code within 10 minutes.
6. Finish verification.

The system sends the OTP on WhatsApp. There is a send limit: 1 send per number per 10 minutes, and 3 sends per account per 10 minutes. The number must be unique. A temporary number is stored until verification is finished.

If the number is not verified yet, a link to the verification page appears on features that need it.
