How to mark a booking as completed
This article applies to bookings paid through Myopentrip checkout. An inquiry to a host does not use this flow.
When does Mark as Completed appear?
The button appears on the booking details page when payment has succeeded and the booking status is still On process. If payment is still waiting, finish payment first. The button does not appear on bookings that are already completed, cancelled, or expired.
How do I mark a booking as completed?
- Sign in as a customer.
- Open Booking in the dashboard.
- Open the paid booking details.
- Choose Mark as Completed.
- Read the confirmation, then confirm.
This confirmation states that the service has finished. Settlement to the host can continue after this step.
What happens after I confirm?
The booking status becomes Completed. You can write a review for that trip, experience, or rental. The system can add visit stamps for catalog places on the itinerary or experience location. Those stamps stay private until you choose to share them.
If confirmation fails, try again. If the status does not change, open a support ticket and include the booking code.
Does the host mark the booking as completed?
No. The customer marks the booking as completed from the customer dashboard. Hosts manage check-in, participants, and cancellations from the host dashboard.
