Trip guest quota and minimum quota

17 Sep 2026

Trip quota applies to the departure date you choose. Meetups use a separate rule. Read the meetup article for Confirmed (Pasti Jalan).

What is guest quota on a trip?

Guest quota is the number of guest seats on that date. Each participant in a booking uses one seat. If that date is full, you cannot add more participants on the same date. Some dates do not limit quota.

The system checks remaining seats again at checkout. The checkout button on the public page is not a guarantee that a seat is still available.

What is a minimum quota before departure?

A host can set a minimum number of booked participants before that date is treated as ready. This is a host setting on the trip date, not a guarantee that the trip will run. The host dashboard marks a date as filling or ready from the booking count.

Minimum quota is not meetup Confirmed. A meetup becomes Confirmed after 2 guests join, and the organizer does not use the meetup guest quota.

What happens if the date is full?

Choose another date, reduce the number of participants, or contact the host if the listing is inquiry-only. An inquiry does not lock quota in the system.

Does the trip organizer use one seat?

No. Trip-date quota counts booked participants. Do not subtract one seat for the host. The “organizer does not use a slot” rule applies to meetups, not to trip-date quota.
