Private trip requests
Some trips accept date or group requests outside the public schedule. This is called a trip request.
How do I submit a request?
- Open a trip page that supports requests.
- Enter the date, guest count, and notes.
- Submit the request.
- Track the status on the Trip Requests page in the customer dashboard.
What do request statuses mean?
- Pending: the host has not decided.
- Approved: the host approved and can set a price.
- Rejected: the host declined.
- Expired: the time limit passed.
- Paid: you have paid.
- Completed: the service is finished.
- Cancelled: the request was cancelled.
When can I pay an approved request?
If marketplace payments are active and the request is approved and still valid, the request page shows a pay option. If payments are not active, continue with the host using the instructions on that page.
Does a request lock quota?
A waiting request is not a booking. Final quota and price follow the host decision and the payment process after approval.
